A je pravdou, \u017ee ob\u011b se nach\u00e1z\u00ed v\u00a0takzvan\u00e9 \u201eobyvateln\u00e9 z\u00f3n\u011b\u201c, tedy v\u00a0m\u00edst\u011b, kde je rozsah teplot takov\u00fd, aby umo\u017enil \u017eivot v\u00a0podob\u011b, v\u00a0jak\u00e9 jej zn\u00e1me. Av\u0161ak pravdou je, \u017ee ani na jedn\u00e9 z\u00a0nich se nenach\u00e1z\u00ed.\u00a0\u00a0V\u00a0p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b Marsu zde chyb\u00ed atmosf\u00e9ra, a vzhledem k\u00a0chyb\u011bj\u00edc\u00ed magnetosf\u00e9\u0159e nen\u00ed ani mo\u017enost, \u017ee by e zde mohla vytvo\u0159it, a\u0165 u\u017e p\u0159irozen\u011b \u010di lidsk\u00fdm p\u0159i\u010din\u011bn\u00edm. To je tak\u00e9 jeden z\u00a0hlavn\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f, se kter\u00fdmi je pot\u0159eba se p\u0159i kolonizaci Marsu vypo\u0159\u00e1dat.\u00a0Venu\u0161e na druhou stranu m\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ru a\u017e p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 hustou, a tvo\u0159enou p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm sklen\u00edkov\u00fdmi plyny. D\u00edky tomu zde panuje teplota vysoko nad hranic\u00ed t\u00e9, kter\u00e1 je vhodn\u00e1 pro \u017eivot. I to je d\u016fvod, pro\u010d ani zde nen\u00ed pravd\u011bpodobn\u00e9, \u017ee zde najdeme jakoukoliv formu \u017eivota, a\u010dkoliv d\u00edky vysok\u00fdm teplot\u00e1m a tlaku je nemo\u017en\u00e9 poslat tam sondy podobn\u011b jako na Mars.\u00a0\u00a0Dobr\u00e1, ale co jin\u00e9 planety? Ty jsou je\u0161t\u011b m\u00e9n\u011b pravd\u011bpodobn\u00e9, nebo\u0165 se vesm\u011bs jedn\u00e1 o takzvan\u00e9 plynn\u00e9 obry, a na nich jsou podm\u00ednky k\u00a0\u017eivotu je\u0161t\u011b nep\u0159\u00edzniv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, ne\u017e na Marsu \u010di Venu\u0161i. Jak\u00e1koliv forma \u017eivota je na nich prakticky vylou\u010dena.\u00a0Znamen\u00e1 to v\u0161e tedy, \u017ee je mo\u017enost mimozemsk\u00e9ho \u017eivota v\u00a0na\u0161\u00ed slune\u010dn\u00ed soustav\u011b vylou\u010dena? Ne tak docela. A\u010dkoliv je velmi nepravd\u011bpodobn\u00e9, \u017ee bude jak\u00fdkoliv forma \u017eivota nalezena na n\u011bkter\u00e9 z\u00a0planet, st\u00e1le jsou zde je\u0161t\u011b m\u011bs\u00edce. A na n\u011bkter\u00fdch z\u00a0nich jsou podm\u00ednky pro \u017eivot alespo\u0148 v\u00a0bakteri\u00e1ln\u00ed form\u011b mnohem p\u0159\u00edzniv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.\u00a0Je tedy pochopiteln\u00e9, \u017ee se sna\u017e\u00edme nasm\u011brovat sv\u00e9 hled\u00e1n\u00ed pr\u00e1v\u011b tam.
